Cherry trees and denim

Today I visited a hanami (花見) festival in Helsinki with my family. Since I couldn't go to Japan this spring to see the beautiful cherry trees bloom at least today I could feel like I was almost there haha~

Dueba Barbie Tony Gray circle lens review

Today I'm gonna review a pair of Dueba Barbie Tony Gray lenses I bought few weeks ago. I got them from solution-lens.com. I've really wanted gray lenses for so long but I'm really picky so it took me some time to find ones I really want. These looked just perfect since they actually don't have the unnatural dark circle on them but they're still clearly gray and magnifying. 

I got them in a cute wooden box with two free gifts: a pen & earrings.

The lens info:

• Diameter 14.5 mm
• Water content 38-42%
• Base curve 8.6
• 1 year disposable

Appearance

Even though they are 14.5mm they look like 14mm, I don't really see the magnifying effect. The color isn't as vibrant as I expected either. They're pretty but sadly not exactly what I wanted.

Comfort

These are definitely the least comfortable lenses I've worn. They don't dry too much since the water content is high but the thing is that they don't stay on the right place. Whenever I blink they move around in my eye making my vision blurry and leaving a very uncomfortable feeling. I could hardly wear these for an hour. It's a huge disappointment since the lenses are pretty and I'd love to wear them more often. Now I'm not sure if I'll be wearing these at all. Then again this all might be just because I have extremely sensitive eyes and the allergy season is making it worse.

//EDIT 16.5.2013 - I tried the lenses on again today with lots of eye drops and they feel perfectly fine !

New header and what's been going on lately

Hi loves, it's been quite long hasn't it.

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates - I've really just had no motivation to blog or think about taking outfit shots. I'm trying to get the grip of blogging again though and hopefully get to do a real blog update soon!

Anyway, the main reason for this update: my new header! It was made by my dear friend Mia and I'm so thankful for the effort she put to it - I love it.  (｡♥〃‿〃♥｡) 

But again, what have I been doing these two weeks? I've been sleeping, watched anime, started jogging, baked dango, slept some more again and planned some future affairs. (check my instagram on right for pics)

What have you guys been up to lately? I really wanna know~  (ノ＞▽＜ )ノ


Also this is my current obsession  - an anime called Shingeki no kyojin / 進撃の巨人, you should definitely check it out if you're into weird gore shonen as much as I am, haha~
